First things first: sorry for the silence. The last post I sent out was in October of last fall, breaking the monthly cadence I'd kept up for the preceding three years.
You’re a writer/thinker I’m always pleased to read, frequency is irrelevant. Although I’ll admit I was surprised to see you in my inbox yesterday. It had been awhile.
I'm glad to see you define your our terms. Though it was lovely hearing from you again.
Personally, I feel less troubled by the fractoring of the public. Most exciting things that has pushed the world forward has been done by small tribes – the network Licklider created at ARPA, the painters of Florence, the 18th century philosophers of Glasgow. I think there are a lot of fascinating ideas bubbling in weird corners of the internet, and whatever ideas succeed will seep out into the public from the edges eventually. Take care!
Oh gosh, perfect. Your articulation of this invisible sense of things is deeply resonant.

Thanks! That's a helpful way of thinking about it.
Welcome back - we've missed you.
thanks for this, was a welcome return of your voice and an eloquent appraisal of something i’ve felt but have been unable to express.
I appreciated this, it was a refreshing take on something I couldn't quite articulate before
So sad to hear about Applied Divinity Studies... still on hiatus I assume?
